Turning on ventilation in gamma sector doesn't stop I-OPEN-WINDOW #76

If you turn off the ventilation in gamma sector and go to the Control Center (PPCC) you will see a message about it:

>WAIT
Time passes...

One technician, fanning herself with a sheaf of papers, says, "It's getting
stuffy in here. Anyone mind if I open a window?" Hearing no objections, she
walks beyond the edge of your viewing area, and a moment later you hear a grunt
and a sliding noise.

But you get this message even if you've turned the ventilation back on. Shouldn't turning it back on stop the I-OPEN-WINDOW timer, the same way turning on ventilation in the delta sector stops the I-SUFFOCATE timer? See HVAC-CONTROLLER-F.
