There is this bit in DOORBELL-F:

However, this means you will hear the doorbell even before it starts ringing. And since it's FROOM-DOOR that gets "touched" once the bell stops ringing, not DOORBELL, you will hear it ring even after it stops. See I-DOORBELL.
