"ENTER PIT" is probably meant to kill you, but doesn't #46

There's this case in PIT-FCN:

     <COND (<VERB? THROUGH>
        <DO-WALK ,P?DOWN>)

But if I try it, either from WEST-END-OF-PASSAGE or MID-ANTECHAMBER, I get:

>ENTER PIT
You can't go that way.

I'm assuming it's meant to kill the player.
