>WAIT
[I assume you mean: Wait 10 minutes.]
Time passes...

Out of the dark comes a figure with long blonde hair, dressed all in silvery
white and glowing with an almost unearthly light.
The ghost approaches you, his cold eyes shining. In a moment, he points a
blowgun at you.

>EXAMINE GHOST
He is wearing heavy white makeup with black eyes and lips. The gown seems to
fluoresce in the dark. It has a high neckline and long sleeves.
He is holding the blowgun.

>NORTH
(You are now in Iris's entrance.)
Light comes from the brass lantern.
A secret door and a lever are on the west wall.
The secret passage leads north and south into darkness.
The ghost approaches you, his cold eyes shining. In a moment, he points the
blowgun at you.

Judging by GHOST-LURKS, at this point it's supposed to say "The ghost follows you" instead of "approaches you":

           <TELL "The ghost ">
           <COND (<QUEUED? ,I-SHOT>
              <TELL "follows">)
             (T <TELL "approaches">)>
           <THIS-IS-IT ,GHOST-NEW>
           <TELL
" you," HIS ,GHOST-NEW " cold eyes shining. In a moment," HE ,GHOST-NEW>

But I guess I-SHOT is no longer queued at this point?
