Tip will speak to you about the syringe, even if he's not nearby #61

I sent Tip to look for the sensor grid, which is why he's not with me in this example:

>LOOK
(SCIMITAR)
You're in the pilot's seat of the SCIMITAR, its operating control panel before
you. The access panel is open.
A wraparound viewport, both fore and aft, provides a view ahead and astern. You
can also observe your surroundings with a sonarscope and a hydrophone listening
device. There's a sonarphone for communication. You'll discover other features
when you need them.
The Emergency Survival Unit contains:
  a hypodermic syringe

>FIND TIP
He's in the storage room.

>EXAMINE SURVIVAL UNIT
A brief inspection under your seat leads to a horrifying discovery! A body-heat
sensor was substituted for the electronic monitor, and a wire leads from the
sensor to the hypodermic syringe.
Tip reports that the part under his seat appears to be okay. "But I sure don't
like the looks of that hypodermic syringe in YOUR part, Torbjorn!" he adds.
"Let's take it to Doc Horvak to analyze it."

That's because ESCAPE-POD-UNIT-F doesn't check if he's there:

       (<IN? ,ESCAPE-POD-UNIT ,SUB>
    <COND (<VERB? ANALYZE EXAMINE>
           <TELL
"A brief inspection under your seat leads to a horrifying discovery! A
body-heat sensor was substituted for the electronic monitor, and a wire
leads from the sensor to ">
        <COND (<IN? ,SYRINGE ,ESCAPE-POD-UNIT>
               <TELL "the " D ,SYRINGE>)
              (T <TELL "where the " D ,SYRINGE " was">)>
        <TELL ".|
Tip reports that the part under his seat appears to be okay.">
        <COND (<AND <FSET? ,SYRINGE ,MUNGBIT>
                <IN? ,SYRINGE ,ESCAPE-POD-UNIT>>
               <TELL
" \"But I sure don't like the looks of that " D ,SYRINGE " in YOUR part, "
FN "!\" he adds. \"Let's take it to " D ,HORVAK " to analyze it.\"">)>
        <CRLF>)

It's also a bit odd that there will be wires from the sensor to the syringe even if you just dropped it there yourself, rather than having someone install it there for you.
