At the start of the game:

>EXAMINE MIRROR
There's nothing special about the mirror.

>LOOK IN MIRROR
A harried and weary police detective looks back at you, with a look that seems
to say, "Look what the cat dragged in."

>BREAK MIRROR
(You can't see any mirror here!)

I don't know what's causing this.
