Documenting this here. Unclear where this is in the stack, but there's at least one metoo on this. My setup: sxmo, pmos edge, pinephone, ADSP 003, firmware 0.7.2, Mint Mobile (carrier).
To reproduce: leave phone in suspend for a while (around 90mins seems right; less than that won't reproduce; safe bet is overnight). Wake up phone. Data connection is gone. nmcli c down DATACONN and nmcli c up DATACONN fixes the problem every time.
Tried ADSP 006; firmware at least as far back as 0.6.9 (probably even further wasn't tracking closely, probably about a year now) also exhibit the problem. Sent logs to biktorgj in case there's something interesting there.
A Phosh users using Mint Mobile (and pinephone pro) did not experience this? So maybe it is sxmo and how it doesn't do systemd/logind suspend stuff? Unclear, but other sxmo users don't report this problem with different carriers.
