The yellow + pink are pretty light compared to the other colors because I wasn't originally designing with color categories in mind. Might want to update/test something like:
Crime & Violence, stay $red
Gendered Language, switch to $blue
Empowerment, stay $purple
People & Places, keep $yellow but maybe make it punchier/more orange? (it only appears in the first chart)
Race, Ethnicity, & Identity, stay $green
The colors are in the variables.styl file, but they're also randomly in the js files as their hex values.
