Requirements

[ ] Create the poller
[ ] Hook up Notifications in Header
[ ] Hook up Private Message Count in header
[ ] Hook up "New Topics/Replies" To MySpot Feed; reveal Snackbar prompt to refresh
- Trigger a periodic check for topics that are newer than marker. a. If there are new topics, show a Snackbar with the option to refresh the feed to see what's new b. If the user clicks "Refresh", send back to step 1, and being from there.
[ ] Hook up "New Replies" to current View Topic
[ ] Hook up "New Topics" to current View Forum
[ ] Hook up "New Version" of the site; reveal a Snackbar prompt to refresh

IMs & Messaging
- Investigate the current mechanism that phpbb uses for sending IMs and how that actually works. Maybe there is a better way to do a health check instead of 30s ajax request already built in.
