Why will VIA not recognise the K5 Pro keyboard #215

Why will VIA not recognise the K5 Pro keyboard? I have downloaded and added the JSON file to the DESIGN tab but when I go to the CONFIGURE tab, i just get a round image and it says AUTHORIZE DEVICE. When I try and add it, it appears in the list, but when i go to CONNECT, nothing happens.... am trying to remap some keys....

I have the same problem and can't access the Discord thread. Could you transcribe your solution here, please?

The OP flashed the wrong version (ANSI instead of UK/ISO in that case) of the firmware. So used the correct one and flashed again and the problem disappeared.
