It won't detect the Keychron K1 Pro

Describe the bug It won't detect my Keychron K1 Pro. It's connected through USB, directly to my computer, I've loaded in the JSON file, and that's all it ought to require.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install VIA
2. Enable the design tab
3. Load the keymap JSON on the design tab
4. Go back the initial tab
5. See the wobbling logo wobbling forever

Expected behavior It detects my keyboard and lets me configure it. Actually it shouldn't be neccesary to load a stupid JSON file for every keyboard. Why can they be built-in??

Screenshots Nothing to see. No errors, no nothing. As if no keyboard is even connected. But then, what am I typing on?... (answer: a bloody Keychron K1 Pro)

Yeah can't help you there. You know, if only you would display some kind of error message, huh...

• [x] I am loading a custom json definition using the designer tab

And I shouldn't need to. This keyboard has existed for a while.

Sanity checks

• [x] I have tried connecting the keyboard directly to the computer (i.e. not using a USB hub)
• [x] I have flashed the latest firmware from https://www.caniusevia.com/docs/download_firmware

Firmware isn't on there, because of... reasons. But it does have the latest firmware.

Same on linux (popos 22.04) either using chromium browser or opera.
