Are you wanting the camera to be in the background? Are you wanting the camera to have a background (the scene will have a background image)? Something else?

Oooh, you want the phone camera to be the background for the app. I understand now - you're asking for augmented reality.

This is theoretically possible, but it could greatly reduce frame rate or heat the phone up a lot. Let me look into it this weekend.

For AR applications? I am really new to android and started with your repo. Could u please let me know
