No, you are not alone. The add-on can't uncloak the text links and most of the Twitter Cards any more.
I tried to find a solution at some point but had to stop because I ran out of spare time. I will continue working on it as soon as I can.
Thanks for the confirmation. Please feel free to take your time.

I have found kinda janky method of doing this - https://github.com/Arturro43/Twitter-IDGAF
Feel free to use and modify my code. It does not work for Twitter Cards, but it works for text links.
Whoa, it's embarrassing how long it's been since this issue was opened and I haven't solved it.
Thanks @Arturro43 for the suggestion.
@PeterDaveHello I promise I'll try really hard to work on it over the next week-end.
I found a partial fix which uncloaks some or most of the text links.
I don't have any more time to improve it and update the add-on.
I'll try to work on it in the following days.
No worries, take your time ;)
Fixed and uploaded to addons.mozilla.org. You can update the add-on now if it doesn't update automatically.
Awesome! Thanks!
I've been encountering an issue with this extension. The extension icon in the toolbar shows the count increasing, but the functionality to extract original links seems to have stopped working.
This issue persists after refreshing and trying on many different tweets. Is this a known issue, or am I experiencing this alone?
