Since I couldn't find any reference to a license - what license do you consider your changes to be under, is it OK for them to be reused in another project?
I found the code helpful and think that it might also be useful for other people using VTK, have you considered starting a merge request to the upstream VTK repositories?
I could understand if you don't want to invest time in doing this yourself - would it be OK for you if I submit it there then?
