Further suggestions for the PDF-guide

[ ] guides can be generated for "Crags" only. However, some small climbing areas are stored as "regions" or "areas" (as far as I understand). Perhaps the PDF-generation should rather be limited by route number (if necessary) than hierarchy.
[ ] section "using this guide" refers to "quality ratings" and "popularity ratings". Both could be introduced graphically, too.
[x] The "alternate name" of a crag does not appear in the PDF-guide, but might be helpful when navigation with the help of non-climbing locals. https://github.com/theCrag/website/issues/3084
[ ] it seems the images (especially on the title page) come with heavy JPG compression producing some unpleasant artefacts. Consider reducing compression a bit for the sake of image quality
[ ] Photo topo in a single column is quite small; consider spanning columns
[ ] Make PDF-guide truly "personalised": let the user choose, which component he wishes to be included in the guide:
- [ ] by content: in/exclude sectors, routes (by grade filter)
- [ ] by function: in/exclude sections "unique features", "description", "history" , "index by grade"

For the sake of completeness some things I already proposed in an eMail:

[x] The two column, small font version looks nice for printing. Having a single-column, large font version for viewing with a mobile device would be great, too.
[ ] Introducing icons for "Trad", "Sport" behind the route names etc may save space and make the guide easier to read
[x] GPS-coordinate (e.g. for the centroids of the area polygons) would be nice.
[x] an overview map at the beginning would be a nice plus.
