Bouldering only (or sport only or trad only) Crag Guide

I have added a route style filter to crag guide (in repo).

For example bouldering at Arapiles

These won't be available until Brendan installs from repo.

This work is not complete:

• [ ] Statistics report on overall crag statistics not filtered crag guide statistics. To that end I have added a routeCount parameter to each node which represents the route count for the node in the crag guide.
• [ ] Karma issues. Structurally there is no simple way of getting the Karma for 'Bouldering' contributors as opposed to general Crag Contributors. Style just does not feature in Karma. This leads to the problem of us attributing to those who are not neccessarily the biggest contributors to the bouldering version of the crag guide.
• [ ] Fix the auto numbering, ie convert number generation in the template to use the backend number generator so they are consistent with topo numbers etc.
• [ ] Add message explaining that this is a filtered page and numbers are skipped because they refer to stuff that isn't bouldering

Is this filtering on grade style or gear style? I've tried sport, Sport, Trad,trad etc but can't filter on anything else?

At the moment filtering is not by gear style it is by grade style. This means that you can get a crag guide for bouldering, or for free climbing (sport or trad) but not one for sport alone.

I don't think we can go out with this one for this release as there are a couple more issues to consider - topos or descriptions refering to a route with a different style and hence missing from the document.

Are their any systems in the world which use the same grade system for bouldering and climbing? I think maybe the best way is to filter on gear style but in the UI make it easy to bundle sport and trad together.

Something like (only styles in use would appear):

'All styles of routes' 'Trad and Sport routes' 'Just bouldering' 'Just deep water soloing' etc

Yeh Campbell and I discussed this this afternoon. Techically it makes no difference what I filter on, we just need some sort of meta filter to combine sport and trad.
