Not sure it is outright wrong but it is not very consistent as UIAA 8 boulder is interpreted as 8B (FB) and 10- as 7B. Relevant for many boulders in Hungary and Czech Republic for example.

Consistent interpretation or warning when using UIAA for boulder routes.

Here more details in UIAA context:

8 is converted to Elite 8B

10 is converted to Expert 7C
