Limited zoom level in OSM maps when editing #3924

What happened? I want to edit a map at a location for which OSM clearly is the best map option. However, the zoom level is reduced when switching to OSM in the editing mode. However, in display mode, zooming is possible until the desired level.

What you expected: unrestricted zooming in OSM.

This looks like an unnecessary limitation. Will be tackled once we re-work the map editing feature.

I had the same issue: OSM ist best option to locate a crag (and for the most accurate position also in the TopoGuru app), but zoom level is to less, so then memorize the whished form and draw it in Google Hybrid or Bing Aerial with higher zoom level.
