Hi,

Why do you want that information?

E.g. if you are looking for crags that are good for climbing in summer this search might help. It lists all crags with orientation north, northeast, northwest and sorts them by popularity. https://www.thecrag.com/es/escalar/spain/mallorca/areas/with-structured-tag/198052843+198052837+198052879/?sortby=kudos,desc

Obviously this depends on orientation tags being filled out.

I think it would be great to have a way to find most climbed routes within an area and month. Example: Most climbed sport routes in Mallorca during July.

I can't found any alternative as suggested in the forum.

Hi @killakalle,

In my little climbing experience the crag orientation helps but it's not that precise. "North" doesn't mean "All day shady".

Lot other factors are also important: approach, crag height, overhangs, caves, dihedrals, trees... In Mallorca there are also zones that are closed in summer due to birds protection laws.

For example, this crag was the first result of your query:

I've been there past weekend. Only one route (Langostino, 6b) can be climbed after 2 p.m., thanks to a little cave. Now I've fixed the tag from "North" to "Northwest".
