One text field to enter route coordinate #4242

Entering route coordinates currently requires the editor user to split lat and lon since they are two separate text fields. Honestly, this is a bit of a pain in the butt, especially when editing on a phone which is usually the case for coordinates.

One single text field for lat and lon would really simplify this a lot. It already works well in the "Edit location" page for "Temporary snap marker":

Looking at the backlog, I don't believe this is of high priority. Actually I wonder if we should keep this feature at all. I can remember a lot of issues with bad data in this fields although they are not often used. Additionally I question the value of this information: At a sport crag the precision of satellite navigation is too bad to distinguish between the start of two routes. In alpine terrain your satellite navigation precision will probably be bad because of the mountains next to you and so you may miss the start of the route if you rely on satellite navigation only.

On the other hand, if theCrag is going to keep this fields and enforce users to maintain them it should be as easy as possible.

Please don't remove this feature though. Sure, in many cases it's not needed to set coordinates on individual routes. In a sport crag with several routes fairly concentrated it's good to set the crag boundaries on the map and show on topos where the routes go.

But consider an area with spread-out boulders. If you split them into many sub areas with just one or two in each, it makes it hard to browse and get an overview. Instead I often find it better having all boulders directly under the area for easy browsing and setting their individual coordinates so their locations within the area can easily be seen on the map.

@morbult That's an interesting concept. Could you share a link to an area where you have done that?
