Do you imagine that it might be possible for SPATA2 to have a function for aligning and incorporating additional images? For example we have some samples where we have consecutive tissues slices, first for IHC and then for spatial transcriptomics. What I am imagining is imagining is having some kind of image co-registration function (perhaps even one assisted by picking common points between the two images like in the 10x Loupe browser) that aligns the IHC image to the Visium H&E image. Once this is done, we would then be able to show the mRNA expression from the visium data overlaid on the IHC image.
