Good afternoon. I'm having problems.

Setup: DISTRIB_ID=Manjaro Linux DISTRIBUT_RELEASE=21.3.3 DISTRIBUT_CODENAME=Ruah DISTRIBUT_DESCRIPTION="Manjaro Linux"

Audio card: Behringer U-Phoria UMC202 Proton 7.0.3

I tried both on ubuntu and here.

I tried to do everything according to your instructions and then tried using your script. The outcome is one. Nothing works. And it's always the same mistake. Can you tell me something? I'm really sorry to sound passive agressive here, but...

Explanation why

• ~ You tell me, what your environment is like (You kinda did)
• Y You explain what the issue is (to be fair, this error message is the first sign that something's wrong most of the time)
• N You tell me about other unexpected behavior
• N You tell me what you already tried.

"I'm on Manjaro, except when I'm not. Something doesn't work. Here, go figure it out for me" is pretty much what you said. This is not a great error description at all.

• What audio server do you have? Is it ALSA/pulse/jack based, or is it pipewire?
• Did you notice ANY OTHER UNEXPECTED BEHAVIOR, such as the game not starting when the script says it should have (which, judging by your log, is exactly what happened in your situation)
• ... Did you even set up the part you have to do by hand, as the script tells you to at the end? (I don't think you did, judging by the RS_ASIO log.)

Also, what's wrong with your install log?

Um... Did... you copy that, or typed it out yourself?

• That text is not from any official state of my script for sure
  • The commands I listed in the readme are wrong (I have to fix it. I will, in a few minutes)
  • The first 4 lines never looked like that. At least I can't find a state where this was the case.
  • line breaks are wrong
  • line 99 (in my script) prints something else
  • line 301-303 (from your install log) is nowhere to be found in the script
  • the last part of the script says something else too.
• [G/n] g when in another location it's [Y/n] y - this can't have something to do with localization.
• Line 360 (install log) never looks like that
• line 378 (install log) - it's unzip, from the package unzip, not unpack... How do you not have unzip?

Anyway, I found about 2 lines in the script that I need to fix.

Also, I just noticed that the script is incompatible with Proton versions higher than 6.5. As it says, experimental, though not your fault with that point.
