There's quite a few apps with a similar goal, but none directed specifically towards creative individuals looking to keep track of their daily inspiration in the form of notes, audio clips, screenshots and photos.

Collect:

• a photo journal with text options to add notes
• basically an organized photo album

Evernote:

• take notes, create to-do lists, and save things you find online
• note based adds but photos, sketches and audio clips can be added into a specific note
• have to start a note to add a photo, sketches or audio clip. Can't create those and categorize them on their own. Our app will!

SuperNote:

• Perfect for Lectures, Meetings, Conferences, Interviews, Debriefings, Brainstorming, Quick notes, To-Do Lists and Planning
• Type, record, or type while recording/playing, also add in photographs and capture everything

The following apps have been designed to use on desktop:

LittleSnapper:

• collect, store and organize digital inspiration
• create global shortcuts for screenshots just like the core OS X tool but instead of popping up on your desktop or clipboard, they are imported and stored in a library
• title your snaps, organize them into folders and smart folders and tag them (basically iPhoto for screenshots)
• does not include notes feature

Ember:

• a free browser-based tool for sharing images
• basically a social network for designers to collect and share inspiration (like Dribbble but not as exclusive)

ZooTool:

• a free social bookmarking tool
• takes a snapshot of the page you’re bookmarking for a visual reference
• grab an entire web page or just specific parts such as an image or movie

Stixi:

• create digital boards of positionable content (like a bulletin board of sticky notes)
• you can upload images and documents, add to-dos, or write notes
• would be an excellent tool for creating and maintaining moodboards for specific projects or simply organizing visual inspiration in a highly interactive manner
• no audio recording option
