Describe the bug

Spotify application window is blank after installing the extension. The dev tools console doesn't show any error message.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Install spicetify-cli and run spicetify backup apply enable-devtool
  2. Copy hidePodcasts.js from this repo to ~/.spicetify_data/Extensions/hidePodcasts.js
  3. Run spicetify config extensions hidePodcasts.js
  4. Run spicetify apply
  5. Open Spotify

Expected behaviour

The Spotify UI is visible and the extension is working.

I've been holding off on any further development until Spicetify starts working again. Does the 2.6.0 release mostly fix things? It doesn't look like it's on Homebrew yet so I'll wait until it's up there before taking a look 🤔
I would try 2.6.0 on Linux, but Spicetify isn't broken on Linux.

@cafca @pWoLiAn @JustinAiken Can someone try it with Spicetify 2.6.3? Seems to have fixed it for me.

theRealPadster commented 3 years ago

Closing issue due to inactivity and it likely being fixed already via spicetify updates

JustinAiken commented 3 years ago

Oh yes, just tried the latest spicetify (1.7.0) and the latest hidePodcasts (2.1.0), no more blank screen!
