There will shortly be a new topic in the Research Agenda focusing solely on the management of faces of (and other personal information about) anyone in the workplace (e.g., employees) that is in the field-of-view of a user's AR display device camera but whose capture and tracking are not permitted by workplace policies.
I will write it up as a Technology-Computer Vision topic because the processing of camera data can be done on- or off-device.
There could also be a business/policy research topic concerning the development of specific company and/or regulatory privacy policies for settings where AR is in use. I will create a placeholder for this, in case we have someone who can develop it.

Will this topic also address the privacy of external actors who are captured by the use of AR enabled devices when in the field, or would this be a completely separate topic? Also wonder if there are any privacy requirements that are specific to minors, under the age of 18?

I have drafted a new research topic focusing on the study of technologies that will automatically detect and block sensitive information that may be in the AR users' field of view. Visit here.
