Usability Problems #38

For Better Visibility:

  1. Idk if this is intentional but the battery window (without the settings) does not hide after a few seconds like it did in earlier versions, you have to click somewhere to hide it again.

  2. unfolding the window to access the settings/bluetooth devices seems to only work if i click the lowest border (like literally the last row of pixels) under the window, shouldn't a click anywhere on the Window unfold it?

@waytoabv, I have just released a new build that fixes issue one. It now fades out after 4 seconds unless triggered manually. As for issue, I am still testing that as other users aren't having this issue.

okay i thought it should also fade away after triggering manually (maybe 5-10s without expanding the settings?), the 4 seconds are working like they should. I tested Issue 2 and it seems to be an issue with yabai, disabling it and restarting BatteryBoi resolves the issue. I will look for a workaround tomorrow.

I tried every combination off settings with yabai and nothing works, so id like to request a feature:

A Button to always expand the settings/bluetooth devices. (Obviously not high priority, if i want to access them i can disable yabai with a shortcut)

@waytoabv, you have pointed out a bug here as when the menu bar icon is clicked it should reveal the settings/bluetooth menu. I will get this resolved in the next issue. Thanks

@thebarbican19 The manually triggered timeout seems to not work, other than that great fixes.
