MAME system install "crashes" on Rasperry PI 4 Retropie 4.7.1 #81

Hi. I´m following this video step by step https://youtu.be/uq8IecVQ6yY When all files are downloaded and checked then nothing happens further on ! No "proccesing" as show in video or similar.

I can´t do anything beside CTRL-ALT DELETE and reboot.

I´m on a Rasperry Pi 4 with latest Retropie and I have updated all I can se has a update option.

Bezels are working but dont fit screen size.

Can you attach a picture showing what you mean concerning screen size?

20220129_131625 Here´s 1942..other games like Arkanoid,Bomb Jack,Commando,Pacman have same issue. Games like Ghost´n´Goblins,Green Beret looks better but still have some hidden areas in the vertical sides. I´m using a 4:3 screen ratio aspekt on a 16.9 screen for more realistic retro look.

You have two options. Because the tv surround is curved all around, you can turn on a shader such as CRT-Geom to give the look of the old CRTs. This should match the curves in the tv surround graphic. If that doesn't suit, you can tweak the sizing settings.

If you go into display settings you can slightly adjust it and don't forget to press save core override so it applies to all games for that specific console. You can move the playable area with the highlighted ones, or slightly adjust using the two below the highlighted ones. (Ignore the values in the pic) image
