Haplogrep #6

Could Haplogrep perhaps be added to Galaxy (even though no one else will probably ever use this ever)? If so, possibly some kind of file converter will probably need to be added, as I don't be lieve Haplogrep enjoys vcf files. Thanks!

Will read into exactly what is required at some point today and start working on a converter. :P

Cool. Thanks. That would be brilliant!

Hey James,

How’s that file converter thingy coming along? Sorry to bug you, but I am impatient (and have a meeting with both supervisors on Monday – and want to persuade Tony that it’s worthwhile to sequence more mt genomes. I’m not sure little allele frequencies from Galaxy will be enough to do that. haha)

Cheers, Anna

Tell us when you need haplogrep and I will add it into my to do list :P. Shouldn't take too long but they have given me about 6000 jobs atm. But it does need to be available for when you need it Tony said.

Well, it’s not majorly urgent. I’ve probably got enough to do at the moment with sorting out what samples to sequence and stuff and then actually prepping the DNA for sequencing – which probably gives you a month or so leeway, I’d say. Maybe you should work on some of the other 6000 odd jobs in the meantime. :-)
