Details are in the file. Iirc it was some fixes to WS. This project it on hold until I get more time.

i cant apply it to : F-Zero X Expansion Kit [64DD] [English].n64 or F-Zero X Climax 1.2 (U) [!].z64

it only runs on F-Zero X (U) [!].z64 rom

can you look into it please and make a version for the expansion kit

I’m sure I had made one for 64dd. That was the last one I worked on. Also make sure your rom is byte swapped.

The patched rom crashes in recent Mupen64 builds or the Mupen64-Next RetroArch core.

It loads fine in PJ64, the older Mupen (non Next) core and ParaLLel.

can you test on the REAL HW then report? I would think that its a Libretro issue.

I don't have the means to test it in real HW. But it crashes on the standalone Mupen64 as well so it's not a libretro only issue.

Interesting! its like the modder had a love affair for PJ64 or something!

Track down the F-Zero X Climax with these applied hacks and test?

Dunno, the link only has the patch for the regular rom. Is there a patch for Climax or 64DD expansion?

Also, i'm not sure about this but i think it was working in older Mupen versions. It does work on the older Mupen libretro core, from a few years ago so i assume it's only more recent versions of Mupen that break it. I don't think it's a Graphics plugin issue either because i use the same plugin in both Mupen and PJ64 standalones.

Wait, i configured Larper properly and it loads the ROM.

So it's only Mupen (both core and standalone) that has issues.

Im sure I tested the hack (98%) and it worked for the console, but slow.

I'm sure it's not the hacks fault for not running in Mupen but i thought i report it here in case you know why it's not working there.

Also, holy crap this Larper64 emulator... Seems pretty good (apart from having no sound obviously). Didn't know it exists...

:) I wrote it.. jk.. Its good to see other projects going on. will have to wait and see if it will mature.

A small update. It turns out the rom does load in the Mupen RetroArch cores. You just need to use interpreter mode.
