ISO's not appearing in Game List (XMB) #405

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Place ISO images into /ISO/
2. Load games list.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Games loaded as ISO's and EBOOT's display in Games list
Instead: Only EBOOT based games display.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
6.60 B10 fix1 on PSP1000

Please provide any additional information below.
I currently have three ISO images (one of a PSX game, and the other two, PSP
games) in /ISO/ (definitely *not* /PSP/* etc), as well as a few games in
/PSP/GAME/ as EBOOT structures. The EBOOT structured games display in the list
(including the ProB10 firmware items), but none of the ISO images- not even
"Corrupt Data" entries...
Any ideas here? One wonders how the system reads ISOs, possibly if one ISO is
bad/invalid then it fails the loading process for the others etc?
Unfortunately, these ISOs are also untested on other firmwares too, so
potentially may be faulty themselves? It just seems unlikely that three ISOs
should all fail, without the corrupt data message at least...

Removed the PSX ISO, and changed all remaining file names to alphanumeric only
(stripping '[' etc.) and now display as expected.
Not sure if this really classifies as a bug, but should at least be kept in
mind! :)

Never had problems with "nameofthegame [REGION].iso" filenames. I gues you had
some ood characters there.

I was originally running OFW 6.6 then downgraded to 6.2 and used the 6.2CFW and
could play ISO games. I have now formatted my memory card and upgraded my psp
back to 6.60 OFW. I then grabbed 660PRO-B10.fix1.rar and am using that. I can
see games in the eboot folder but not the ISO folder, even after changing
filenames to be alphanumeric :(

Have you tried renaming the ISOs to be all alphanumerical, no symbols, all
lowercase and no spaces etc? Just to fully confirm that its not a text
formatting issue. Also, are they ISOs or CSOs? Are you able to test both?

Have you enabled the "Support non Latin1 filesnames" in the recovery menu?
