the long part of the key stored as the disk serial number, verified with the disk label provided within the script
serial number ~~saved in an additional file~~ entered manually when there's no direct access to the boot sector

disk sector read - INT25, works in Windows DOS box and in NTVDM full path to self - get from the environment, DOS3+
