Right now, whenever nodes are removed, the breadcrumb gives a count. When an expansion set checkbox is used, I can check to see if the entire set (or some majority) is selected for deletion, and include that info. If it's two expansion sets or more, I can say something like "parts of 3 expansion sets plus 4 other nodes".
