I could add this so that the accepted search term is added to the graph. There'd have to be an ontology selector that precedes it.
I am thinking about the tree too. That might be a good way to allow users to add distant nodes. It would be weird in way, because there would be the search on the left side outside the viz, then also a tree for each...I wonder if perhaps these two things would only be revealed when the user goes to a full screen mode?
Bioportal widgets offer a within-ontology search mechanism.
