Warning: Invalid argument supplied.... #20

Hi there,

I just installed the The City Plaza Wordpress plugin and when adding the widget I get the following error message on the front page: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/45/9071445/html/DEV/wp-content/plugins/the-city-plaza/lib/plaza-php/lib/plaza/topics.php on line 38 No topics found

The City subdomain is "mahabba".

I read through the previous issues a bit and changed "allow_url_fopen = Off" to On in the php.ini file in the root directory, but no change.

Website in question is: https://www.mahabbanetwork.com/DEV/ (bottom om page)

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Anita,

I looked at https://mahabba.onthecity.org/plaza and I see that the plaza has not been enabled for your instance of The City. That will have to be done first before the plugin will work for you.

I am receiving the same error. I don't know what you mean by "the plaza has not been enabled for your instance of The City" How do I enable the plaza?

Assuming you have Admin access you can go to Admin => Site Settings => Features and select the option to enable the Plaza. See attached image. plaza

Thanks Wes. I wasn't sure if you were referring to a WP instance or The City. Here is the Error and our Admin setup. Could it have something to do with the GroupAdmin?

Not sure of the terminology. For login it is ebc.onthecity.org

Our main group is Emmaus Bible Church.

Thanks Bryan. "ebc" is what I was looking for. "ebc" is the subdomain for "ebc.onthecity.org". Did you put in "ebc" (without the quotes) in the subdomain field for the wordpress plugin?

I tried your settings locally and all worked for me.
Did you try checking the box "Clear cache on save" and then pressing the save button to see if that resolved it? It could have been a bad pull originally if there was an error.

What version of PHP are you using?
What version of the plugin are you using - 0.8.4 is the latest (http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-city-plaza/)?

Tryed that, still not working. We are using 5.5 of PHP, but can roll back to 5.4 or 5.3? I didn't see a requirement listed. I was using .84 or your Widget, but now using .85. Still not working.
