Change the theme to "Default" and the user interface (menus etc.) becomes quite
readable. You may want to adjust the syntax highlighting colors to further
improve the readability of Python scripts.

I am afraid I can't suggest much else, since I am using a third-party library
for the theme code. If someone offers a theme suitable for the "high contrast"
mode I will include it in the distribution. You can create custom themes using
a tool available from
http://www.silverpointdevelopment.com/skineditor/index.htm.
