Find definition #375

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Considering the following statement:

import numpy

and having the cursor position over numpy, than got search->Find definition,
the correct numpy module opens, but no navigation entry is added (ALT+Left
doesnt go back to the previous file)

This is documented in the help file. If you want to be able to go back-forward
Cntl+
click on the identifier, instead of using Fond Definition.

Is there a reason, why you can't go back-forward by using Find Definition? I
don't like using the mouse and access most functionalities by shortcuts (which
works really fine - thanks)

Fixed in Version Control. Now Find Definition invoked from the menu also adds
the found definition to the Browsing history. Documentation has changed
accordingly.
