Global backgrond/foreground colors for editor #416

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In editor setting should be option to change global background/foreground 
color. Now it is impossible to set highlighter to use black background for 
entire "canvas" (i found it less eyes tiring).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Use the color for space as the global background.

highlighters.
