What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run a tool which has output parsed in the messages windows with error, lineno
information
2. Edit the box
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
This is probably a reasonable thing to do. When changes are made
any line numbers may be invalid, so blanking the list as is happening makes
sense. However, having to click "<-" on the messages windows when doing a
series of small edits can become a bit cumbersome, and sometimes it nice to get
within the ballpark without rerunning the tool. So if there was a way to
disable this behavior, that would be awesome. This is more of a wishlist item
than a product defect.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Python Scripter 2.4.1.0, Window XP Pro SP 3, Limited User
