Abstract: These days storage has its work cut out. It must be able to meet application demands at all times. As containers scale, so should storage. As container technology matures, the storage platform should adapt and be used as a frictionless service. While software-based storage is nothing new it is becoming a leading technology when running Docker in a private cloud. This session will cover the benefits of running a soft-based storage platform as close to the container as possible as well as the freedom to run Docker containers with different software-based storage platforms such as ScaleIO and Ceph from a single service.
