MIDI Hack cripples IMS 4.7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable MIDI hack in OSD
2. Load IMS 4.7 (Intuitive MIDI System) floppy image and run the prg (can be 
found here: http://tamw.atari-users.net/ims.htm)
3. At IMS startup screen, click the mouse to enter the application workspace.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The application should run smoothly. The startup screen loads fine, but when 
you enter the workspace the UI flickers erratically and the mouse moves very 
slowly with a long delay. Disabling the MIDI hack returns the application to a 
semi-workable condition.

What version are you using?
TOS 2.06, firmware r303, core r268, under various chipset and ram settings

Is that problem fixed? Several MIDI related fixes have been included since this 
was reported.
