bettermint is a very weak engine, it gets routinely beaten by many players when chess mint had a much stronger engine. I was practically invincible with it.

Bro bettermint is. Not a weak engine you gotta do some changes in settings of this extension.First of keep your depth onto 15 and then maxed out elo ,skill level and mate finder and don't forget to turn on nnue and mate finder keep limit strength turned off and here you go

Bettermint has a terrible engine. I compared chessmint and bettermint a month or 2 ago. Both depth are set to 4, and i set limit strength off and i turned on auto move too. Best move probability is 100 percent. The results are: Chessmint ALWAYS won. When i viewed the game i noticed a few things:

1. Bettermint seems to miss an obvious checkmate.
2. When i saw bettermint's accuracy, its very low compared to chessmint.
3. Bettermint made dumb blunders for some reason idk why because i haven't made changes to the settings.

Idk if the problems have been fixed because i tested this a while ago

Edit: I also set NNUE off for both, and mate finder to 18

I tested bettermint by making it play against Komodo,maximum of chess. Com every time I took the help of bettermint against maximum I won every single time sometimes convincingly I think the problem of not finding easy mate by bettermint can be sorted out by enabling nnue and max out mate finder if you don't believe you can see proof of beating Komodo by bettermint on my you tube channel by the way I tested chessmint by making it play against Komodo but on the depth of 15 it Would always lose however on the depth of 17 it would make draw but on 20 depth it would beat Komodo but on depth 20 it would take a lot of time move on the other hand bettermint crushed Komodo on the depth of 11 with Nune turne on if you don't believe me watch' it on my YouTube channel the link https://youtube.com/@AmanRight-cl2wb?si=Kn8D6X_65Avc9KTe

Chess.com detects Bettermint, accounts are getting banned and this extension is not working at all
