menus only appear on one screen after starting the game #2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start the game, get to the main gameplay screen
2. press esc
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

that there is a single over laid menu screen or the other players side is at 
least grayed out.

Reset default viewport after custom viewport changes.
