Notes from 1st Pom of PTL:

• S urvey: Scan TOC and each chapter's headings/summaries to get an idea of the whole book's content.
• Q uestion: Take notes of any questions you may have that arose during the S phase.
• R ead: Read the book. Take it with you to read everywhere. (Kindle is useful here)
• R ecite: Recite, summarize, take notes and re-phrase content.
• R eview: Re-read, expand notes, discuss w/ colleagues (message boards, Stack Overflow, etc.)

Test-Driven Learning: Test yourself often, using flashcards(?), as this is much better than cramming. Love the 2-2-2-6 system.

Second Pomodoro: Start Time 4:55PM

2. Questions:
   • Should I start with Chapter 8 (Manage Focus)? I have trouble with focus, so it seems logical.
   • Chapter 3.6 also looks interesting; DIY Brain Surgery & Neuroplasticity
   • How effective are the Next Actions at the end of each chapter?

I found the “Next Steps” section very helpful to start incorporating that chapter into my habits.
