Not downloading. #98

I'm not using the internal server. I've tried, but I can't get it to download either way. It's a small ogg found on a Zelda Wiki, just being used as a test.

I've tried burning several disks with the same ogg, and I can't get it to download...

Ok, it's working for everyone else, just not me. Someone else's server has it, and It's just me. It's not downloading on my client, reccomended or latest....

it never says download complete for you? check you firewall/antivirus, which could be blocking the connection maybe. restart spoutcraft completely. and make sure your music volume is turned up.

Ok, I found the issue. AVG. AVG stops JAVA from downloading files. It's also the culprit as to why I can't properly update spout or technic, Tekkit, H/M, VoxelBox, or Yoggcast. Using the "temporarily disable AVG protection" feature helped, and I was able to use JB properly!

on a side note you should be able to set AVG to trust spoutcraft or set exemptions so that you dont have to completely disable your antivirus to use SpoutCraft.

I've tried, but the best way I've found so far, is to just disable it while I'm playing...
