Duels when escaping prison #3

Fight your way out when otherwise you might have simply been recaptured! It would be accompanied by some fun flavor centered on CQC with improvised weapons and the like.

CQB?

Seems like an obvious hook. Funny, I've never been imprisoned by the AI in all my playing. I never hide with waylight either, but then, I'm usually busy commanding an army so out of harm's way, haha.

Would be one of those super-rare things, though. I wouldn't recommend prioritising it with heavy extra flavor, even though the case, from a storytelling perspective does call for it. Stealing the sword off a guard as they haphazardly try to tackle you is easy enough to cover in 1-2 events, then, boom, duel sequence, then conclusion events where you either get carried back off to prison (could even just use the default for that) and where you steal their clothes, dress up as a guard hurriedly and slither off into the moonlight.

Whoops. I Meant CQC, so I updated my original issue. (Close Quarters Combat. Though Close Quarters Battle works, too, I guess. But it's not the accepted phrasing.)

As for the flavor: All duels get their own unique flavor. Early on I had to choose between having generic pools of flavor surrounded by a few unique tidbits (the NDE approach), having entirely unique flavor with some interchangeable pieces (reducing repetition while still allowing for some specifics, like surroundings or weapon types, to be mentioned because they're consistent across all the flavor options), or having entirely unique event chains which would always follow the same pattern throughout. I went with the middle option. It requires more work, but writing the actual flavor is a lot more fun and provides more immersion.
