Cannot use SSH Tunnel on android 4.2.2 #166

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I was using SSH Tunnel on my Nexus 7 very well with android 4.2.1 .But 
yesterday I installed 4.2.2 update. Now it connects but doesn't rout traffic 
from my server.
2.Before updating I could see SSH Tunnel on SuperSU list of apps which have 
root access. But now it seems there is now root grant.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want rout all traffic through my VPS. Tunnel is connected, but doesn't rout 
traffic.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using SSH Tunnel 1.5.4 on android 4.2.2 [it was working on 4.2.1 without 
any issues]

I can confirm here as well, Jelly Bean 4.2.2 cannot use the SSHTunnel(Beta) - 
it simply fails to connect.

On the stable version of SSHTunnel, it says it's connected, but no traffic 
passes through.

I can confirm that also on the latest CyanogenMod nightly for grouper. I'm able 
to connect but attempts to use Chrome ends up in "No data recieved".

I realized that my root access is lost after updating. So I root again my 
device and SSh Tunnel is working fine again.
You may use this tutorial for rooting JDQ39 Android 4.2.2 Nexus 7 tablet:

SSH tunnel 1.5.6 on google play doesn't fix this.

sshd does not work for me, it sucks, wish there was a way to go back to earlier 
version of my Android OS
