Remove errant period from frontmatter footers #116

@rabarth1 you also suggested that we could potentially remove the footers from the frontmatter. Before we attempt to fix the period issue, should we just eliminate the frontmatter footers and make things easy on ourselves?

@rabarth1 responded separately to say, yes, go ahead and remove the footers from the frontmatter. So we don't need to worry about the periods.

Just noticed the period also appears in the Glossary footer (. Glossary). I don't think we want to delete this footer, but we do want to delete the period.
