Figure 32.1 and 32.2 formatting #121

I made Figure 32.1 'pdf-two-column' but not sure how to manage the other requests

@rabarth1 please see the attached screenshots. We made Fig 32.1 span across two-columns as requested. For the "2" that sticks out of the pie chart in Fig 33.2, I can't make it fit in the pie chart so my best idea was to add a line to connect the number to its slice. I also tried putting the number over the slice and letting it run over the edges, and tried having all the numbers outside the pie chart to make it consistent, but none of those were any better.

And finally, I can't really do anything to make the point sizes of the type the same in all the figures because they're in there as image files and as the image scales, so does the type. These are also all being generated from data in Excel, which has proved very finicky to work with. Trying to get it all to match up would be very onerous.

Can you let me know if these are ok as is, or if I should do something else?

This looks good to me, thank you. The line connecting the 2 to the chart is clear. I think Renate will be happy with this, but I do still need to get her a PDF of her paper for final approval. I am confident she'll be happy with these two solutions, though.
