Looking into the original tape notes for the songs assigned to this society, here is what I found.
Songs 3894-3900 are from Atanquez, all recorded at the same festival-- so song lat-lons for all songs should be 10.7, -73.35. Currently there are two different sets of lat-lons used, and both are slightly different from that one.
Performers for songs 3894-3900 are described as "mestizos, of predominantly Indian-Negro descent." The instruments are described as being the same as those played by the Kogi, but the tape notes make a point distinguishing these songs as mestizo music.
Song 3893 is by Rafael Escalona and is from Valledupar, so should be reassigned to society 62451 Valledupar.
I suggest renaming society 13597 "Atanquez," indicating in the People fields that this a Afro-Colombian/ Mestizo group, updating language to ande1249 (songs have Spanish titles, seem to be in Spanish), and unmatching with EA Sb2 Cágaba (that EA society is already matched to another GJB society, 18712 Kogi, which is a clearer and better match.
