"EA Ce7 refers specifically to "village of Vasilika", which Wikipedia gives a lat lon: 40.5, 23.1. None of the GJB societies seems to be from this particular area, so the best match is unclear. The best match mayb e GJB16100 based om the lat lon. For now, I have left all Greek GJB societies linked to EA Ce7 (16083, 16094, 16100, 16116, 16072, 62541)."
However, there are still a few Greek GJB societies that aren't linked to Ce7: 62314, 16681, 14147, 50277, 18624. I could see a case for not matching island Greek societies (14147, 50277) to Ce7-- however, 16072 is also an island society and is matched to Ce7. I could also see not matching Ancient Greece (16681) because of the vastly different focal time. But I can't follow why 62314 (Greek Macedonian, fairly close geographically to EA focus), and 18624 (Inner Mani, far from EA focus but not too far from Kalamata, which was matched to Ce7) aren't matched.
My impulse would be to match all the societies mentioned here (except maybe Ancient Greece) with Ce7. Kate, could you clarify whether there was a reason you chose not to do so?
